Once you have files, you need to transfer them to your server, so the world can see them. Do this using a utility called
"FTP" or "File Transfer Protocol."
Follow these directions for either a mac or a pc
Mac users, download "Fetch." It's shareware available from http://mac.tucows.com/preview/206633.html
Once you download the program and open it on your computer, it will ask you for four
pieces of information:
1. Name of the server where you want to put your files
2. Your username
3. Your password
4. Directory you would like to go to (optional)

Once you fill out the information and push "ok" a second screen will come up:
From this screen you can "upload" or "download" files. (Upload to the server using PUT FILES, download from the server using GET FILES).
PC users, download WS_FTP for free from www.ftpplanet.com Be sure to click on the FREE version (called WS_FTP LE).
Once you download the program and open it on your computer, it will ask you for four

1. Profile name (optional--it helps you remember which profile is which if you have a lot of them)
2. Name of the server where you want to put your files
3. Your username
4. Your password

From this screen you can "upload" or "download" files. (Upload to the server, download from the server).
The window on the left is YOUR computer. The window on the right is the SERVER. Use the arrows in the middle to send the files from one computer to the other.
